Where teams use the sprint
Audit & compliance readiness
SOC 2 / ISO on the calendar and the platform can't produce evidence. The assessment maps controls to reality and the roadmap sequences the fixes before the auditor arrives.
New leader / consolidation baseline
A new VP inherits the estate, or two estates merge. The current-state assessment is the honest map; the blueprint is the plan everyone can argue with productively.
AI platform infrastructure readiness
Bedrock, SageMaker, LLM gateways, agent services, and MCP integrations need the same discipline as any production system: token/cost metering, model access controls, audit trails, deployment and rollback paths, and observability. The assessment and blueprint cover AI readiness as part of the operating model — assessment, blueprinting, and implementation planning only; no model building, no AI deployment claims.
Common questions
Who is this for?
Platform, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams — typically Series B to enterprise — who inherited sprawl: multiple accounts, inconsistent clusters or runtimes, partial IaC, organic GitOps, and stale docs. The launch specialization is AWS and EKS; the operating model applies equally to ECS, serverless, and mixed AWS estates.
What do you need from us?
A completed guided questionnaire (about an hour of your team's time), one or two working sessions, and read-level context on your environment. No agent installs, no IAM access required for the assessment tier.
Why is this so fast?
Because it's founder-delivered and software-assisted. The questionnaire, scoring model, and document generation are productized — the expert time goes into validating findings and tailoring the roadmap, not formatting documents.
What does the deliverable look like?
A Confluence-ready document set: executive summary, current-state assessment with maturity scores and evidence, target-state blueprint, 30/60/90 roadmap, and a prioritized implementation backlog. See the sample report for the exact shape.
Do you implement the changes?
Not in the assessment or blueprint tiers — they deliberately require no infrastructure access. Implementation happens in a fixed-scope Implementation Pilot (from $25,000, 3–4 weeks): one workstream from your own roadmap, scoped at the walkthrough call, with the roadmap's exit criteria as the success criteria. It's never sold cold.
Is there a software subscription?
Not yet, by design. The self-assessment and Platform Designer are free to use today, and nothing connects to your infrastructure. A SaaS subscription comes after founder-led delivery proves which parts of the work deserve automation.
What happens after the sprint?
Most teams execute the quick wins themselves. If you want ongoing help, the retainer keeps a principal-level platform engineer reviewing your roadmap, docs, and cost governance every month.
Stop explaining your platform from memory.
In one sprint, get the maturity score, the risks, the roadmap, and the docs — generated from how your platform actually runs.
